Where It Falls Short
Not designed for individual use. The pricing and access model assume institutional customers. Individual pricing is not publicly available because individuals are not the target market.
Web interface is dated. The user experience has not kept up with modern design standards. It works, but it does not feel modern.
Limited API access. For automation purposes, Turnitin is not flexible. You use what they provide.

The “best” detector changes as both AI and detection tools evolve. What is true today might not be true in six months.
